About Canada's Express Entry Program
Express Entry is the revolutionary front-end system you must go through to become a Canadian permanent resident. Implemented by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), it is a very popular path for people looking to come to Canada. After all, as a permanent resident, your rights are very similar to those of Canadian citizens themselves.

Profiles for Express Entry
The first step in applying through Express Entry is to submit your profile. This will capture important information such as:
- Work experience
- Qualifications (ECA verification)
- Age
- Family status
- Language skills (IELTS/TEF)
- Proof of funds
Once you meet the criteria set out by CIC, you are accepted into the pool of candidates.
CRS Cut-off
The information you submit for your profile will be condensed into the Comprehensive Ranking System score – better known as the CRS score.
Your CRS score is a number between 0 and 1200 points. It will determine if and when you will receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence. ITAs are issued after regular draws by CIC. Typically, higher CRS scores receive ITAs before lower scores.

Submitting a Perfect Application
